We helped this $42 billion global organization to dramatically reduce external hires of senior talent from 70 per cent to 30 per cent. Coaching formed a key part of our multi-pronged solution, with more than 700 employees participating in our leadership development and coaching program, which was designed to accelerate the development of high-potential talent.
Global technology firm.
The executives of one of the world’s largest internet technology companies were spending around $3 million a year hiring independent coaches with mixed results. We provided the firm with globally consistent executive coaching solutions, which we delivered to hundreds of leaders across the organization, from managers to senior vice presidents. Our coaching prioritized one or two competency-linked leadership behaviors to improve the likelihood of them sticking. Qualitative and quantitative data has proved the effectiveness of this approach, with the coaching initiative resulting in behavioral improvement in 90 per cent of the coached executives.
