Mr. Knapp has extensive experience in the design and implementation of talent management programs that enable clients to realign the skills of their leadership teams during periods of organizational change.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2006, Mr. Knapp spent eight years with Mercer HR Consulting, where he advised over 100 clients across a broad range of industries. He has worked extensively with both multinational and domestic operations requiring assistance with the design and implementation of assessment, hiring processes, merger integration, and leadership coaching.
In addition, Mr. Knapp has developed tools and methodologies to enable HR leaders to establish a quantitative business case for change. He has conducted extensive research on trends in HR transformation, published articles, and presented at associations including the Conference Board and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago.
Before joining Mercer, Mr. Knapp served as the human resources director for Rush Prudential Health Plans, a Chicago-based managed care organization. In addition to leading the human resources operation, he was an advisor to executives on leadership development, talent management, employee relations, and organizational change.
Mr. Knapp received a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Illinois State University.
