Mr. Weiss generates specific benefits for clients by applying an integrative approach covering strategy decoding, organization redesign, workforce optimization, talent review, and change management. He managed the transformation of the HR organization of a DAX 30 corporation redesigning the operating model and organizations structure, roles and accountabilities, and checking the role fit of job incumbents.
Mr. Weiss restructured the organization and right-sized the workforce of a global telecoms company subsidiary. He also helped turnaround a failing product development program for a Japanese high tech corporation.
Mr. Weiss is a senior project manager for restructuring organizations and strategic planning of the workforce. He has broad expertise in organization and process audit, analysis and redesign, job evaluation, and performance management.
Mr. Weiss works primarily with the transportation, technology, and automotive sectors, with unique experiences in project-oriented organizations. He leads Hay Group’s practice on organization and workforce design and transformation in Germany.
Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Mr. Weiss worked as process reengineering and IT consultant for Unisys Corporation and as equity partner for a boutique consultancy in restructuring, performance and project management.
Mr. Weiss holds a master degree in business administration from the University of Regensburg. He is a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and was lecturer for project management at Heidelberg University. He is trained in facilitating cultural change.
Mr. Weiss is fluent in German and English, and speaks Spanish.
