Daiki Tanaka is a Senior Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Mr. Tanaka led a global team of Hay Group and client members for global organizational transformation of a leading Japanese company. He developed a new global human resource (HR) system and helped implement it for a subsidiary outside Japan.
Mr. Tanaka defined a new group level competency and talent development program for a leading Japanese company. He designed and delivered an executive top team building program with an intensive off-site workshop for a client in financial sector He has also led global HR due diligence projects in US, Germany, and Hong Kong.
With his 10+ years of consulting experience, Mr. Tanaka delivered a range of consulting projects from strategy development to on-the-ground operations.
Mr. Tanaka’s areas of expertise include organization transformation, HR system design, assessment and development of leaders, compensation strategy, and HR due diligence with focus on global companies. He has extensive experiences in retail, consumer, financial, and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to joining Hay Group, Mr. Tanaka worked at McKinsey & Company as a consultant, and at Ipsos-Novaction as a marketing consultant. He received his master’s of business administration from INSEAD, a master’s in social sciences from University of Amsterdam, and a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of Tokyo.
