Ms. Chappell has leveraged her experience in integrated talent management to build organization-wide competency models, implement succession planning processes and design robust leadership development programs aligned with business strategy. Ms. Chappell also works closely with individuals on their own development, providing assessment feedback and ongoing coaching, and with organizations in the context of selection, promotion, and development of their high potentials.
Ms. Chappell was previously Korn Ferry’s manager of assessment services (Canada), where she provided training, education, and consultation, and developed methodology for the Search practice in relation to proprietary assessment tools.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Chappell worked as an analyst in Aon Consulting’s Talent Management practice, as a consultant in Oliver Wyman’s Research practice, and as a consultant with the Guelph Centre for Organizational Research, with a focus on behavioral interview training, focus group facilitation, and candidate assessment.
Ms. Chappell is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and has published her research. A skilled presenter and facilitator, Ms. Chappell has been invited to speak at various industry conferences, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Canadian Psychological Association. She received her Advanced Executive Coaching certification from Columbia University in New York.
Ms. Chappell earned her master’s degree in industrial relations and human resources from the University of Toronto, where she founded the Student-Alumni mentorship program, and holds a bachelor of arts (honors) in psychology with a focus in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Guelph.
She has lived in Singapore, France, Germany and Canada.
