Mr. Knapp has extensive experience in the design and implementation of talent management programs that enable clients to realign the skills of their leadership teams during periods of organizational change. He has worked across industries with global organizations leading the design and implementation of executive assessment, hiring processes, talent strategy, HR transformation, merger integration and high potential identification and development.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2006, Mr. Knapp spent eight years with Mercer HR Consulting, where he advised clients on HR transformation. He developed tools and methodologies to enable HR leaders to establish a quantitative business case for change. He led transformation engagements, conducted extensive research on trends in HR transformation, published articles, and presented at associations including the Conference Board and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago.

Before joining Mercer, Mr. Knapp served as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Rush Prudential Health Plans, a Chicago-based managed care organization. In addition to leading the human resources operation, he was an advisor to executives on leadership development, talent management, employee relations , and organizational change.

Mr. Knapp received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Illinois State University and completed all coursework for a .master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology.
