Bongiorno

Senior Client Partner

George Bongiorno is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry's San Francisco office where he is a member of the Firm's Human Resources Practice.

Mr. Bongiorno has conducted a variety of CHRO searches, and senior level HR business partner, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and talent management searches within all industries across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He has also led a number of assessment and succession projects for clients.

For 25 years prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Bongiorno held a variety of senior level human resource roles. Previously, he was a senior vice president and head of human resources for Bank of America's Global Corporate & Investment Bank (GCIB), and head of human resources for the bank's international activities throughout Europe, Asia, Japan and Latin America. In this dual role, he led global teams of recruiting, training, compensation, HRIS, diversity, leadership/organizational development and HR generalist professionals in support of a variety of the bank's global businesses. Mr. Bongiorno's prior roles at Bank of America included head of human resources for fixed income and head of GCIB recruiting.

Previously, he was with Kidder, Peabody & Company, a GE Capital investment banking subsidiary, in a variety of senior-level human resource generalist and recruiting roles. Earlier in his career, he held positions with a New York-based executive search firm and Citibank.

Mr. Bongiorno holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Florida Southern College.
