With more than 17 years of experience, Mr. Shen specializes in leadership assessment and development, executive coaching, talent strategy and management, and organizational development. He has worked with multinational companies, private and state-owned enterprises across a wide range of industries, such as high-tech, consumer, finance, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, and industrial manufacturing, among others.
Mr. Shen has a thorough understanding of organizational change during strategic transformation and has worked with several consulting projects for commercial banks in China. With his expertise in organizational capability construction, Mr. Shen led and was involved in numerous organizational capability construction projects.
Mr. Shen has led multiple international and Chinese leadership development projects covering the leadership pipeline – from high-potentials to senior executive levels – and applied various assessment technologies and development methods including assessment centers, action learning, learning workshops, and coaching.
Mr. Shen also does innovative organizational consulting, and led projects on the formulation and improvement of innovative organizations. Approaches like organizational analysis, competency analysis, behavioral development, and innovative action learning were applied to help companies achieve breakthroughs in organizational innovation efficiency and change agility.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Shen was a principal consultant and business development executive at Hewitt, Hay Group, and Aon Hewitt.
Mr. Shen holds a bachelor degree of engineering and master of business administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
