A seasoned, bilingual expert, Ms. Lawton has almost 25 years of extensive professional experience in human resources and management consulting. Working in the U.S. with global and large-scale organizations, she has built processes and programs that ensured strategic alignment of talents, consistent and fair handing of employees’ performance, and continuous development of leadership bench strength. In serving groups and individual leaders, Ms. Lawton has designed and delivered leadership assessment/center, executive coaching, team effectiveness interventions. She delivered changes by working with numerous executive leaders and high potential employees located in different regions of the world.
The majority of her clients is of Fortune 500 companies in an array of industries. Some industry examples include industrial/ manufacturing, transportation, high-tech, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, health care, aerospace, finance, hospitality, and retail.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Lawton held professional and leadership positions at several organizations in the U.S.A., including Unity Solutions (Premier leadership and talent consulting firm), Personnel Decisions International (PDI, global HR consulting firm; recently acquired by Korn Ferry), Motorola, Inc. (high-tech company), Ameritech (telecommunications company), and Prevention Research Division of Center for Disease Control (CDC).
She has a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a master degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Seoul National University, and a bachelor’s in English Language and Literature from Yonsei University. She is fluent in both Korean and English.
