Paul Chou is the Co- Managing Director and Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry based in the Philadelphia office.

Leveraging over three decades of professional experience as an academic, business professional, and senior consultant at several international executive search firms, Mr. Chou brings a proven record of success and extensive knowledge about leadership to a broad range of not-for-profit clients regarding executive-level placements, succession planning, and leadership assessment. His portfolio includes senior leadership placements for a variety of not-for-profit clients with an educational orientation. He is a frequent presenter at various conferences sponsored by ACE, CIC, AASCU, CCADP, AASHE, and AICAD and has co-authored thought leadership articles including: Tapping Asian Leadership Potential to Win in Emerging Markets (2013); and The Expanding Role of Human Resources Executives at Colleges and Universities (2016).

Mr. Chou's assignments represent relationships with a broad range of distinguished public and private academic institutions in North America and Asia. His experience includes a diversified portfolio of senior-level placements at colleges and universities with a particular focus on presidents, chief academic officers, vice presidents for research and innovation as well as deans for variety of leading colleges in the liberal arts, medicine, engineering, technology, public health, and the fine and performing arts. Complementing his academic search work, Mr. Chou has also led many executive search assignments for nationally recognized foundations, museums, public policy, performing arts and scholarship organizations.

Mr. Chou began his professional career as a software engineer at Fonar Corporation, and subsequently held various senior management positions on Wall Street at several firms, including PaineWebber, and Balfour Maclaine Corporation.

Mr. Chou is a professional violinist and conductor. While occupying the Ronald J. Ulrich Endowed Chair of Orchestral Studies in the department of music at Lehigh University, he also served as a development officer focusing on corporate/foundation relations and major donor cultivation. He currently is a guest conductor and violinist at the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara PPGM-UFPB in Brazil.

He received a master's degree in music from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a bachelor's degree in music with high distinction from Indiana University-Bloomington.
