Ms. Yuan brings to Korn Ferry over 8 years of experience as a talent management consultant. She has a proven track record of helping leaders, teams, and organizations drive results by building strong leadership pipeline and cultivate effective organization culture.
Ms. Yuan consults with a wide range of medium to large Fortune 500 companies, both public and private, in health care, manufacturing, financial services, technology, retail, transportation, and public accounting on organizational development and talent management topics. Her areas of expertise are around leadership development and organization assessment. She focuses on the design of leadership assessment and development initiatives to help organizations effectively identify high potentials, develop talents, and strengthen their leadership bench. Through both qualitative and quantitative diagnosis, she evaluates the overall organization effectiveness and helps organizations pinpoint areas of improvement that yield significant return. She also facilitates training on topics such as leadership and change management to mid senior level managers. Selena has conducted extensive research on topics including employee engagement, employee motivation, organization culture and career management.
Ms. Yuan is certified by ROI institute and one of her ROI studies won the national award: 2013 Most Innovative Approach to ROI. The study is published in the book titled Measuring ROI in Learning, Organizational Development and Change, by The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Press.
Ms. Yuan holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from University of Illinois at Chicago. She has presented her research studies on career, extrinsic behavior and motivation at the Academy of Management conferences.
