With a tenure of over 18 years within the Korn Ferry group, Ms Poelman has built a considerable and well recognised expertise in talent acquisition solutions for the industrial markets, ranging from single high level key strategic recruitments to volume projects for next generation leaders or high-potentials.
She has been leading - as account manager - many global or European wide partnership programs with clients, overseeing top quality delivery of the teams across multiple countries and ensuring the highest client satisfaction.
Over the last 6 years, An leads and gives direction to the team of industrial-specialised Sector Leads, Managing Consultants and Research Associates across the whole of EMEA.
Before this, she was Managing Director for the BeNeLux organisation of Korn Ferry Professional Search and holding the responsibility on the team and P&L.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, An worked as international project manager with Mercuri Urval International, focusing exclusively on large cross-border consultancy projects and assignments.
Earlier, she worked with Monsanto Inc. as part of the global team in charge of business development and capability building outside of the United States.
In the beginning of her career, Ms Poelman was a lecturer at the University of Leuven (Belgium).
An completed classical Latin-Greec education. She holds a masters degree in Roman philology from K.U.L, Belgium, as well as a postgraduate degree in European Studies from the University of Nancy, France.
She is fluent in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.
