For more than twenty years, Bryan has partnered with clients globally on leadership assessment, succession, and recruitment in both boardrooms and the C-suite. He brings depth of experience in managing clients through succession impacted by disruption, transformation, and strategic events.
Bryan recently served for six years as the Global Leader of Korn Ferry‘s Financial Officer Center of Expertise (COE). During this time, he led several prominent recruiting and assessment engagements across industries globally. He served a diverse client base ranging from Fortune 50 to investor-backed and family-controlled companies. Further, Bryan co-founded and led the CFO Institute, a leadership program designed for CFO successors or recently appointed CFOs.
As a CFO expert, Bryan appeared regularly in national media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barron's, and Fortune Magazine to discuss KF's data analytics on assessment and broad market trends.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2013, Bryan was with Heidrick & Struggles for 13 years, most recently as a Partner within the Global Financial Officer and CEO & Board Practices. He had also served as the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Chicago Office. Bryan started his leadership advisory career in 2008 at Korn Ferry, based in New York City.
Bryan is an active member of The Chicago Club, The Economic Club of Chicago, and leads the firm's partnership with the NACD Chicago Chapter. He lives in Chicago with his wife and 3 children.
Bryan holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington.
