Chris Woodward

Chris has international leadership, strategy and HR experience underpinned by strong academic qualifications.

Cranfield educated, published author and former Army Officer, Chris received a commendation from his previous CEO, supported HRD transformation agendas and helped draft an HR strategy for the Army.

Chris has significant leadership experience, an innate ability to simplifying the complex and translate strategy into action. Chris routinely works with C-Suite stakeholders and has experience working in high risk and high tempo working conditions.

Chris has significant operations and project/programme management experience. He led a 200 strong organisation overseas between 2014-16 and was also a UN negotiator.

Chris has worked as a consultant in strategy, leadership, talent and reward for clients across both the private and public sectors.

Chris has an MBA from Cranfield University as well as an MSc in International HRM (also from Cranfield) with research interests in innovating talent management, leadership, culture transformation, knowledge management and total reward strategy implementation. Chris has L7 chartered accreditation with CMI and CIPD through the UK Defence Academy and his experiences to date. Additional courses include APM Agile Project Management, Management of Risk and Management of Successful Programmes, Innovation Management courses (Napier and Cranfield) and Systematic Inventive Thinking. Before attending leadership training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Chris completed a Geography and Management BA honours degree at Leeds University.
