Senior Client Partner

Darryl Smith is an Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry and the diversity inclusion and talent optimization specialists for the Korn Ferry based in the Firm's Chicago office.

Mr. Smith brings more than 15 years of experience to his role as Senior Client Partner to collaborate with clients to understand their culture, challenges, and objectives, to craft measurable strategies that accelerate development and continuous engagement at all levels within the organization.

Mr. Smith serves clients in shaping their enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion business cases and strategies across industries—including financial, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, government, not-for-profits, and education

Earlier in his career, Mr. Smith worked for various fortune 500 companies in business development, training and management functions.

Mr. Smith's work has primarily focused on talent optimization strategies, including diversity, inclusion, engagement and performance management training and senior leadership development . His background in human capital development and consulting enables him to establish strong value-added partnerships with his clients.

Mr. Smith serves on the board of several, not for profit organizations and has a strong commitment to mentoring inner city Chicago youth.

Mr. Smith holds a master's degree in business administration from Clark Atlanta University and a bachelor's of science degree in business management, with an emphasis in information systems, from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.
