Mr Major is an experienced facilitator providing effective and engaging workshops in physical and virtual environments. He works internationally and has worked in most of Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia.

He has 20 years project management experience combined with over 15 years business and people development experience that he brings to the workshop to make learning real for his students. His blend of business focus and consulting skills, coupled with his knowledge of Human Capital Development, bring a unique approach to assignments where innovation and creativity are tempered by pragmatism to produce effective workable solutions with measurable results.

He has worked at a senior level in organisations and his experience gives him credibility with his clients. He is a passionate believer in the ability of effective people development to transform business performance and is experienced in the development of learning metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of development programs.

Since leaving military service, he has worked in a range of industries and sectors, public, private, and not for profit. He started as a project manager delivering technology assignments for leading companies developing into a Programme Manager delivering complex managed IT service solutions.

He then moved to lead the people development function for an international IT services company in the UK and Europe, where he was responsible for L&D, Talent Management and Organisational Development as well as managing a multimillion-dollar budget. 

Mr Major is a Fellow of the CIPD as well as a Project and Programme Manager, Business Analyst and Six Sigma Black Belt.
