Mr. Schostak provides executive search and human resources consulting services to Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies as well as start-up and fast-growth companies within the hospitality related sectors. His expertise includes senior level search assignments in the gaming and hotel/resort industries, theme parks and attractions, restaurant and food service groups, airlines, cruise lines and travel services. His assignments have spanned the C suite, general management, functional management, senior technical and senior administrative functions.
Mr. Schostak has also worked in conjunction with acquisition, merger and turn-around situations. His human resources consulting experience includes projects in organization, compensation and management assessment. Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1995, Mr. Schostak was senior vice president for one of the leading hospitality search firms in North America. Before that, he was president & CEO of Valley Asset Management, a hospitality asset management and resort real estate development company. The previous nine years were spent at a division of InterContinental Hotels Corporation, where Mr. Schostak held the position of vice president development.
Mr. Schostak is recognized as an industry leader in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters, Las Vegas Business Press and Leaders magazine and as a guest speaker at the Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas. Additionally, he has contributed to several books on conference center design and operations.
Mr. Schostak holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Temple University.
