Henry Topping is a core member of the Consumer and Technology industry and Board & CEO functional practices. His work emphasizes technology transformation across the spectrum and at the highest levels. 

Mr. Topping serves a wide variety of clients across: Media (including Entertainment & Sports, Traditional & Digital); Consumer & Enterprise Technology; Telecommunications; and Marketing & Information Services. He is a member of the Private Equity Center of Excellence.

He joined Korn Ferry from a global human capital advisory firm, where he was Partner and Global Head of the Media Practice.

Mr. Topping’s work has emphasized general management, digital, finance, revenue and marketing. Working with Boards, CEOs and the broader C-Suite, he has provided transformational human capital advisory services for smaller, growth-oriented companies, mid-market turnarounds, and the Fortune 500.

He is the co-author of thought leadership articles, including: Media in Focus: Managing Through Crisis & Change, Value Creation Through Talent as Content Distribution Consolidates, Professional Motivation Revisited: The Achievement Society for the 21st Century and Destination Digital: Finding & Building the Talent to get there.

Mr. Topping has a BA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from The Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at The University of Virginia. 

Earlier in his career, Mr. Topping worked at John Wiley & Sons as VP of Business Development, responsible for the company’s successful strategic partnership strategy. A former entrepreneur, he co-founded and led Sprout, a highly regarded Internet-based, on-demand software company serving the publishing industry.
