Mr. Vet focuses on senior-level client work in the financial services and real estate areas. He has successfully conducted numerous executive searches for major corporations worldwide. Previously Mr. Vet was based at the Firm's headquarters office in Los Angeles where he worked closely with North American clients with international operations, conducting engagements in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Before this, Mr. Vet served as assistant to Korn Ferry's chairman and participated in international business development and strategic planning initiatives. He oversaw the design and development of the Firm's Global Board Services, a major new service focusing on board of directors searches.
Mr. Vet has supervised major research studies with the Economist Intelligence Unit and the University of Southern California's Center for Effective Organizations. Early in his career at the Firm, he was a Partner within the Financial Market in Amsterdam.
Before joining Korn Ferry in 1992, Mr. Vet held positions with Paribas Capital Markets in London, England, and Rodamco N.V. (part of the Robeco Group) in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where he managed a global portfolio of real estate equity investments.
Mr. Vet holds a master's degree in finance and real estate investment analysis from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a bachelor's degree in economics and art history from the University of Notre Dame.
