With more than 20 years of experience, mostly in the HR field, Mr. Castillo has dedicated the majority of his career to providing consulting services to multinational organizations. He brings to Korn Ferry a diverse background that will be a strong fit for our clients in Mexico, having managed various HR organizations, spanning a range of industries that include technology, agrobiotechnology, financial services, production, consumer goods and pharmaceutical.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he founded his own consulting firm (WKC Group) where he successfully helped different organizations develop their talent agenda, align their capabilities to business strategy, grow leadership skills and structure end to end talent. Previously, Mr. Castillo worked as Head of Organizational Development and Talent Management at Boehringer Ingelheim Mexico, where he also spent time in Germany developing a worldwide HR talent management strategy.
Prior to this role, Mr. Castillo worked at Hewitt Associates Mexico, ING Mexico and DUXX Graduate School of Business and Leadership. Prior to this, he became the Organization & Compensation Corporate Manager of Pulsar International and the HR Information Consultant for Cigarrera la Morena.
Mr. Castillo is also a widely regarded thought leader and has been invited as a guest speaker at several HR forums for Mexico, Latin America and Spain on subjects such as Adding Value through Effective Teams, The Challenge of Engaged Talent, Managing the Employee 3.0 Dilemma and Trending HR Topics in Mexico and Spain.
Mr. Castillo has a major in Computer Systems Engineering and master's degrees in both Information Technology from ITESM Monterrey in Mexico and HR International Leadership from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
