Managing Consultant, Human Resources

Joy Hunt is a Managing Consultant with Korn Ferry’s Professional Search Human Resources Center of Excellence.

Joining in 2021, she brings over 20 years of experience in recruitment, executive search, and client partnership. As Managing Consultant, Mrs. Hunt is responsible for developing and fostering client relationships as well as search execution, to include crafting a search strategy, sourcing, engaging/developing candidates, guiding the interviewing process, offer negotiations, references, and onboarding. Her specialty is in the technology space, specifically healthtech and insurtech.

Passion and results orientation drive her deep satisfaction in helping her clients build organizational capability through people and processes. She sees beyond the expected and consistently asks, "why not?" Her strategic operational leadership experience gives her the toolkit to help her clients become more effective.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mrs. Hunt founded an executive search firm where she focused in human resources and the building and design space.  Over her 20-year career, she gained experience in research, recruitment, talent strategy, and advisement within search firms and Fortune 200 companies. 

Mrs. Hunt earned her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia International University.  She is an Associate Editor of intalegent and is on the HackingHR Chicago Chapter’s content leadership team.
