In the past 15 years, Ching has provided  strategic advice for clients from various industries including Financial Services , FMCG, Hospitality, Utilities, Transportation and others.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was a director at Willis Towers Watson providing various HR solutions to many global and local clients in HK and the Greater Bay Area.

Prior to that, Ching also held the role of Group Talent Management Manager with a large global apparel manufacturer, where he contributed to the development of the Group-wide talent management framework, policies and systems. 

Ching specializes in human capital consulting including competency modelling, corporate culture transformation, employee engagement, executive coaching, HR Due Diligence, leadership assessment and development, performance management, as well as succession planning.

In the earlier stage of his career, Ching worked as a business psychologist for leading psychometric assessment consulting firms in Australia. Ching is an accredited user of a number of psychometric assessments including OPQ and Saville Wave. He is also a certified coach and experienced in performance coaching.

Ching holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Masters degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Deakin University. He is also a registered psychologist in Australia and Hong Kong.

Ching lived in China, Hong Kong and Australia and he is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
