Ms. Swift works with organizations to future-proof their workforces – from shaping the vision all the way through to helping execute the transition to new work and new ways of working. She is a frequent keynote speaker and a prolific author currently at work on a book, “Fuzzy Walls and Foosball Tables: Adventures Through the Sometimes Bogus Future of Work.”
Ms. Swift’s work with clients focuses on large-scale, analytics-driven rethinking of jobs, leaders, talent, structure, and culture to reshape working populations for everything from digital transformation to the effects of COVID. Ms. Swift has spearheaded many parts of Korn Ferry’s intellectual property around the workforce and continues to fuel the creation of future-forward innovations in this space.
Ms. Swift was named one of 20 digital transformation leaders to follow on Twitter. She has guest-taught digital leadership at the Tuck Business of Business at Dartmouth via the Visiting Executive Program, and her column on transforming IT populations appears monthly on The Enterpriser’s Project. Her research has been published in such venues as Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal.
Throughout her career, Ms. Swift has been focused on shaping a different future for organizations. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she co-founded a thinktank – focused on data-driven models for the future of leadership - for a major executive search firm. At Deloitte, she launched two $200 million service offerings addressing clients’ growing ESG mandate. Earlier in her career, she conducted a series of pioneering derivatives trades for Deutsche Bank.
Melissa received her BA from Harvard University and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
