Head of Advisory Business, Korn Ferry Russia & CIS, Senior Client Partner

Neda Songin-Vatoline has headed Korn Ferry’s advisory business in Russia and the CIS since July 2016. In parallel, until March 2021, she acted as the general director of KFHG Russia, where her main focus was strengthening the advisory business and the overall KF brand in the Russian market.

From 2008 until 2014 Neda was general manager of Hay Group Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) – which became a part of Korn Ferry in December 2015 – where her key objective was to ensure development of the business and to work with major regional players to promote the company’s services and reinforce the company’s image in the Baltics market. At the same time Neda managed a number of  major projects outside the Baltic states and worked with a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

After relocating from Vilnius, Lithuania, to Moscow in August 2014, Neda’s role was as an expertise leader, which involved ensuring knowledge transfer and the introduction and maintenance of quality standards in work performance assessment area; she was also a team manager in the advisory division, and she supported sales and the delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Neda’s experience working with clients is closely related to her role as a business developer first in the Baltic states and later in Russia and the CIS. She has vast experience working with the big telecoms, logistics and transport, financial companies, life sciences, energy, and oil and gas companies in the Baltic states, Russia, Ukraine and other countries of the former Soviet Union.

Some of Neda’s most recent successful projects include the implementation of a rewards system for the Bank of Lithuania and another for the government of Kazakhstan, a number of rewards system projects in the energy sector in Lithuania, a job grading system for VTB Insurance and Otkritie Group and a top management remuneration system for Sheremetyevo International Airport in Russia. 

Neda is an expert in work assessment and rewards management. In recent years she has been broadening her expertise portfolio and is now intensively involved in leadership assessments and development projects, transformational leadership and organizational culture change. 

Neda holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg affiliate of the Institute of Sociology, 2000.

She also holds a Master’s Degree in Executive Business Administration, obtained in 2010 at the Baltic Management Institute in Vilnius.
