Associate Client Partner, Assessment and Succession Practice

Ruth Cochran is an Associate Client Partner for Korn Ferry in the Assessment and Succession Practice.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Cochran worked in other leading human capital advisory firms. During her 20- year career in the field, Ms. Cochran has specialized in a variety of client offerings, from executive search to assessment and development. She has also worked across a broad range of industry sectors and functions, with a recent focus on financial services, technology, and industrial companies at the c-suite level. 

Ms. Cochran specializes in CEO and C-Suite assessment, consulting with boards, CEOs and CHROs to ensure that clients' short- and long-term strategic priorities are the guiding principle in their talent initiatives. Ms. Cochran helps organizations build practical, effective succession processes and leads senior executive succession assessments. She also supports the development of executives through customized coaching and onboarding.

Ms. Cochran earned a master's degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University, as well as master's degrees in Library Science and English from the University of California at Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California at Irvine.
