She focuses her executive search work in identifying diverse talent to fill operational leadership roles in health systems. Most recently, she has led consulting engagements with a large organization focused specifically on women's issues.
Ms. Libbert consults with healthcare CEO's and other key C-suite/physician executives, advising on selection and retention, alignment, leadership development, performance management, operations and change management, mergers and acquisitions, and strategies around culture.
Ms. Libbert possesses more than 24 years of experience in healthcare, human resources, and government. She focuses on assisting clients with their unique needs around engagement of people: employees, physicians, and patients.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Libbert was a key leader in Studer Group, a Malcolm Baldrige Award winning firm, now a division of Huron Healthcare. During her tenure there, she served as director of human resources and then as director of national partnerships where she partnered with several systems to achieve top performance in key metrics. While in operations, Ms. Libbert was instrumental in the firm doubling the size of the consulting division and obtaining the Best Places to Work designation for 6 consecutive years.
Shannon earned a master's degree in public administration with graduate certification in human resource management (specializing in healthcare administration) and two bachelor's degrees, all from Florida State University.
