Through his broad expertise and communication skills, Mr. van Schaick adds value to various projects within the Rewards & Benefits team. He has a lot of experience with complex processes about changing employment conditions.
Mr. van Schaick has the quantitative skills to value the impact of changes. And the qualitative skills to explain these in a simple way to different stakeholders (C-suite, HR, works council, employees).
Setting up global rewards frameworks, introducing benefit plans, redesign pension plans are some examples of his daily work since he started at Korn Ferry in 2016.
Before Korn Ferry, Mr. van Schaick has gained consultancy experience as a pension advisor for international companies at a large global advisory firm. Before that, Sjoerd worked as an account manager at one of the largest insurance companies in the Netherlands.
Mr. van Schaick holds a bachelor's degree in Financial Service Management. He is a ‘WFT certified advisor for Pension, Income, Health and Non-Life insurances. He also has an actuarial mathematics degree.
Mr. van Schaick can speak both Dutch and English.
