Principal, Advisory

Dr. Vanessa San is a Principal at the Korn Ferry Singapore office. She is an organizational psychologist and executive coach who has worked with APAC industry leaders from diverse fields across corporate business, finance, hospitality and education.

Dr. San’s early interests in business and psychology led her to pursue both academic disciplines, with a commerce degree and a Doctorate in Psychology. In her work as a clinical psychologist, she spent 12 years in private practice, healthcare and educational settings, as well as lecturing in tertiary institutions. Dr. San went on to establish and lead the Asia-Pacific headquarters of a global employee assistance organization, providing multinational corporations with counselling and wellness services. Dr. San focuses on working from an integrative and client-centered approach, delivering specialized coaching to bring about deeper insight, growth and sustainable change.

Dr. San also brings with her experience in a leading image and branding consultancy, with expertise in corporate training of professional skills, executive presence and individual brand building. Much of her work was in coaching individuals towards accelerated personal awareness, skills acquisition and actualization of strengths.

Most recently, Dr. San’s work at a management consulting organization focused on talent assessment, executive and career coaching, and development of senior leaders and teams, assisting client partners in their selection, development and employee engagement initiatives. In addition, she was a key member of the curriculum design and facilitation team, responsible for planning, crafting and delivering learning and development programs for both corporate clients and the general public. 

Dr. San holds certifications in psychometric assessment,  corporate coaching, career coaching and image consulting, and is an ACTA-certified trainer and Prosci Change Management Practitioner. She is a Licenced Psychologist and a member of the Singapore Psychological Society.
