Los Angeles, October 5, 2016 – Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced that Chris Fischer has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner in the Korn Ferry Executive Pay & Governance practice based in the Chicago office. Mr. Fischer will focus on Executive Compensation and Corporate Governance, which will encompass providing clients with regulatory, proxy advisor, institutional investor, and executive compensation consulting services.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Fischer was a Partner and Senior Consultant and led the Executive Compensation Governance practice in a global human capital consulting firm. Mr. Fischer has over 15 years of experience in consulting on director and executive compensation and corporate governance matters and has worked with companies ranging from large public companies to smaller private organizations.

Mr. Fischer’s expertise is primarily in helping clients understand and assess potential exposures under the multitude of corporate governance and executive compensation policies and guidelines established by proxy advisory firms and institutional shareholders. He also assists companies by providing guidance on a broad range of executive compensation matters including, short- and long-term incentives, executive pay levels, contractual employment and postretirement relationships, deferred compensation program design and funding strategies, change in control, severance, and corporate restructuring and change.

Mr. Fischer is both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. He has a J.D. from Southern Illinois University, a LL.M. in taxation from Washington University (St. Louis) and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois.
