LOS ANGELES, December 14 2015 - Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced that John F. Weigold has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner in the Aerospace & Defense practice. He will be based in Korn Ferry’s Stamford office. Mr. Weigold also serves as a reserve Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Weigold joins Korn Ferry from a global executive search firm, where he was the co-leader of the global Aerospace and Defense Practice, and a partner in the firm’s New York and Washington, D.C. offices. There he focused his efforts on the aerospace, defense, government and aviation sectors, and conducted specialized work in corporate, physical and cyber security.
In his military reserve capacity Mr. Weigold continues service as a Navy rear admiral, as the deputy director, operations at U.S. Pacific Command based at Camp Smith, Hawaii, which oversees all US military operations in the Indo-Pacific region. He previously served as the deputy commander, U.S. Seventh Fleet based in Yokosuka, Japan, and as the head of operations for the U.S. Navy in Seoul, South Korea prior to that role.

Mr. Weigold is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science. He is also a graduate of the Naval War College and the Joint Forces Staff College.
