LOS ANGELES, September 5, 2017 – Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY) today announced that Mark Broer has joined the firm as Senior Client Partner in the Global Life Sciences Practice and Managing Director, Pharmaceuticals where he will co-lead the global pharmaceutical sector, working in both Korn Ferry’s Zurich and London offices.

Mr. Broer specializes in recruiting CEOs, C-level executives, board directors and chairmen in the healthcare sector, with a focus on senior level international appointments.

Mr. Broer joins Korn Ferry from a global recruiting firm, where he was a member of their board of directors and led the global Biopharma Practice, previously leading the Healthcare Practice in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to executive search, Mr. Broer was a senior vice president at a European-based investment bank, where he managed pan-European client teams for healthcare customers and was responsible for advising clients on major cross-border transactions including equity placements, M&A and corporate finance.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Broer worked in business management, marketing, business development and corporate strategy at two international healthcare companies. He also served as an aspirant fighter pilot in the Royal Netherlands Air Force.

Mr. Broer received a Master of Science in pharmacology from the University of Amsterdam and his MBA in a joint program between Erasmus University and the University of Rochester, New York. He is fluent in English and Dutch and has a working knowledge of German.
