of a poor candidate experience?

Candidate Experience

The need to ensure a consistently positive candidate experience across levels, regions, and functions is an increasingly high priority for businesses. In order to better understand what constitutes a good experience for candidates, we surveyed more than 1,500 professionals around the world. It’s evident just how valuable a good experience is – as are the repercussions of a poor candidate experience.

In North America, we found the majority of candidates were unlikely to accept a job offer if they were treated poorly during the recruiting process. In Latin America, candidates were most put off when recruiters were rude to them, while in EMEA and APAC candidates were most put off by not hearing back from recruiters that most. While regional differences emerged, the theme emerged across all surveys was candidates’ adverse reaction to a business as both customers and repeat applicants in the wake of a poor candidate experience.
