About Futurestep

Motivated by our desire to be the world’s leading people and organizational advisory firm, capable of answering talent challenges at every level of the organization, Korn Ferry founded Futurestep more than two decades ago to deliver high volume recruitment solutions and top tier professionals at the middle to upper levels of management.

Our Solutions business, providing recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and project recruitment, allows clients to attract top talent while reducing expenses and time to hire. For us, it’s more than just outsourcing the recruitment process though; it’s about building a partnership to discover and deliver the talent that will have the greatest impact on their businesses. We recently ranked as the No. 1 overall provider and the leader in quality of service on HRO Today’s 2016 RPO Baker’s Dozen list.

Our Search business, backed by Korn Ferry’s award-winning IP, helps organizations identify and attract key professionals and, in doing so, supports their succession planning initiatives. Each industry practice and functional center of expertise is seamlessly integrated with its Korn Ferry Executive Search counterpart, ensuring a broad view of top talent within the market.

Futurestep also offers an unparalleled global footprint with an extensive infrastructure. We have 108 offices in 56 countries around the world and, included among the offices, are our eight Talent Delivery Centers, recruitment hubs conceived and built-out to better serve clients wherever it is they need talent. Our centers, located in Dallas, Buenos Aires, Warsaw, Bangalore, Manchester, Manila, Shanghai and Auckland, boast capabilities in 27 languages. They are also home to Talent Academy, our an enhanced learning, development and onboarding program, designed to develop recruiting and RPO specialists at all levels of the Futurestep organization.

We work in a fast-moving, dynamic industry where change is the only constant. Flexibility is the key to success, and best practices never stay the best for long. You’ll find energy and creativity are truly prized here – and new ideas and perspectives are always welcome.

Typical job roles

Whether building a short list of candidates for a search engagement, sourcing and screening talent for a RPO engagement or recruitment project, or consulting on talent acquisition strategy or employer branding, Futurestep offers the opportunity for a career with impact.

  • Sourcer - At the heart of the operation, our sourcers are the first point of contact for candidates and provide vital sourcing support to senior recruiting colleagues. It’s a varied role that brings new challenges and learning opportunities every day. From developing tailored sourcing strategies to identifying target candidates and carrying out telephone screening, you’ll be involved in a wide range of activities that help our clients connect with the talent they need. No two projects are ever the same – you’ll be hiring across various sectors, functions and geographical areas. Given that we’re a global leader in talent acquisition, working with some of the world’s top companies, we believe there’s no better place to start developing a career in recruiting.
  • Recruiter - As a recruiter at Futurestep, you might be working on a long-term RPO contract or on a shorter-term project. Whatever your assignment, a key aim will be to achieve continuous improvement for clients and candidates, particularly through process innovation. Your role will focus on understanding and meeting client needs, as well as managing the experience of candidates. You will be a main point of contact and a go-to source of expertise for our clients, which means you’ll need to take a consultative approach and bring the wide-ranging knowledge to act as a subject-matter expert on everything from sourcing strategies to recruitment process effectiveness. You’ll also be the essential link between our clients and our sourcing teams.
  • Talent Consultant - Clients turn to Futurestep to help optimize every aspect of the employee lifecycle. If you bring specialist expertise in a key area of talent strategy, this is a great environment to grow as a consultant. We can offer no shortage of high-profile and challenging projects, plus the chance to collaborate on multidisciplinary and often global solutions. Our client-facing consultant positions focus, among other areas, on assessment and selection, recruitment technology, and talent acquisition strategy.
  • Search Consultant - For search professionals, the ability to leverage our parent company Korn Ferry’s wealth of award-winning Intellectual Property, backed by decades of assessment research, has great appeal. With access to these tools and technologies our consultants can dramatically enhance the quality and caliber of services they deliver to clients. As a search consultant, you’ll enjoy the chance to build high-level relationships with clients, working to understand their specific needs, and then advising on a best-fit solution. You will be responsible for delivering against KPIs and SLAs and helping to ensure we hit our revenue targets.
  • Account Management and Recruitment Leadership - Join this team and you’ll be helping to build a best-in-class talent acquisition function for your client, while leveraging the heritage, IP, tools, research and network of one of the world’s most successful global recruiting firms. It’s an extremely wide-ranging and influential role that will see you thinking beyond RPO to deliver integrated solutions that encompass consulting, employer brand, assessment, technology and search. In the long term, you could well see your career developing from pure recruitment into the much wider talent management field. Given the global nature of our operation, there may also be opportunities for you to experience remote management, as you take responsibility for a team based across the world.
