Typical job roles

  • Project Coordinator - This is a great way to get to know our business inside out – and it could be a stepping stone into other roles. As our Project Coordinator, you’ll provide first-class support to a number of our Executive Recruitment leaders and colleagues. From maintaining their calendars and coordinating international travel schedules through to handling all sorts of admin tasks and drafting business documents, the work you do will be vital to the smooth running of the business.
  • Research Associate - Matching the right people to the right roles is a complex business. But it’s something we excel at here at Korn Ferry, and our Research Associates are one of the reasons why. Join us, and you’ll actively participate in designing our search and business development strategy, from pitch through to candidate development. The research you do over the phone and via a wide range of online resources will be invaluable when it comes to creating target lists for vacancies and we’ll always be keen to hear your ideas about potential targets. You’ll have the opportunity to attend client briefings and meetings, and you’ll also contribute to our propriety market intelligence projects. Put simply, this is a varied role in which you can make a real impact.
  • Senior Associate - You’ll be a lynchpin in the search process, project managing the various stages to ensure we execute each client engagement to the very highest standards. We’ll be relying on you to lead the identification of, and communications with, candidates during the search engagement and to keep the consultant up to speed with how things are progressing. As well as that, you’ll capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our systems to both drive the search process and help us convert business development opportunities. Because we’ll also be looking for you to identify new business opportunities, this is definitely a role that will make the most of your drive, determination and commercial savviness.
  • Managing Associate - This is a role that will draw on your deep market or functional knowledge to the full and which will enable you to hone your search execution skills in a business that’s driven by excellence. You’ll execute search assignments brought into the firm by one of our Partners, supervising the wider team and playing a critical role in the process, from candidate development through to client management. You’ll be seen as a market expert in your industry or functional area and although you won’t be directly responsible for business development, you will be providing potential new business leads to Partners. It’s a very visible role – our Managing Associates have above average placement ratios, a track record of exceeding expectations on search execution and a history of gaining excellent client satisfaction ratings. Put simply, you’ll be working alongside the best which will, in turn, bring out the best in you.
  • Principal - The Principal position at Korn Ferry is seen as a developmental position on the path towards Senior Client Partner. Do well, and you’ll have the opportunity to advance to a role where you will be directly responsible for generating new business (typically, you’d become involved in business development within two years, but the exact timeframes will be driven by your performance). You’ll get to that level by successfully executing search assignments brought into the firm by one of our Partners – or, potentially, by you. We’ll need you to oversee the entire search execution process, from candidate identification to client management. Your deep market or functional knowledge and ability to deliver exceptional client service will ensure you quickly become known for your outstanding client satisfaction ratings, placement ratios and market expertise. And that you make the transition to Partner level sooner rather than later.
  • Senior Client Partner - Our Senior Client Partners not only know how to deliver significant levels of value and service for our clients, they also make a huge impact on our business by selling our Executive Recruitment services. Acknowledged experts in their industry, function or specialist areas, they have demonstrable sales, account management and delivery expertise. Not only that, but they fully understand the leadership and organizational issues faced by C-Suite executives, and are adept at building peer-to-peer relationships with these leaders, acting as a trusted advisor. Join us in this role, and you’ll be developing first-class client relationship and enabling us to optimize all business development opportunities that are open to us. You can expect to take responsibility for the successful execution of assignments, overseeing others in the delivery of work plans, ensuring we deliver exceptional client service and building solid employee engagement.
