Ben Otte



Ben Otte is a Principal for Korn Ferry based in the firm’s Brussel’s office.

Mr. Otte works in a broad range of services and solutions helping clients to implement their business & human resource strategy into a clear and coherent plan. He supports clients in projects related to HR strategy across three main expertise areas: reward, leadership & talent, and organisation effectiveness.

Mr. Otte can intervene in a variety of roles: as client manager, project leader, team manager, and/or as an expert. Clients appreciate his drive, problem solving skills, his ability to create buy-in at all levels of the organisation, as well as his pragmatic, no-nonsense and structured approach to addressing complex client issues. Ben likes to combine client impact, precision and a touch of fun. 

Mr. Otte has recognized expertise in job design, job family modelling, career path design, job evaluation, reward policy design, pay progression and variable pay schemes. He has solid practical experience in leadership programs, competency modelling, assessment & development of high potentials, experts, and middle managers.

Mr. Otte has led national and international projects with regard to organization effectiveness, performance management, step and gap analysis, organization design & restructuring

Mr. Otte regularly facilitates off-sites and work shops with various business stakeholders (C-suite, senior executives, functional leaders, experts, middle managers). He has led extensive training & info sessions to: unions, senior management, large audiences of blue and/or white collars. 

Mr. Otte holds a master’s degree in organisational psychology (UCL) and in international relations (KUL). He regularly facilitates expertise-related workshops (e.g. performance management workshop) and is a guest lecturer at the K.U. Leuven association.

Mr. Otte has lived and studied in the United States, Belgium, and Germany and speaks French, Dutch, and English fluently.
