Ben Sanders is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Stamford office, working in the Industrial and Private Equity sectors. He joined the firm in 2007.

Mr. Sanders focuses primarily on senior executive roles for portfolio companies of private equity firms and best-in-class corporates, as well as recruiting investment professionals and operating partners for private equity firms.

He also manages the global relationship for certain private equity firms for their portfolio company search activity within Korn Ferry as they seek to build out their management teams post-investment.

Previously, Mr. Sanders worked for another search firm in their private equity practice. He entered the executive recruiting industry in 2006, having formerly been a Vice President with FleetBoston Financial Group (subsequently acquired by Bank of America). Over his seven years with Fleet, he provided banking and financial advisory services to private equity firms and portfolio companies, as well as to stand-alone domestic and international corporations.

Mr. Sanders holds a MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. He also holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College, where he graduated magna cum laude and majored in Finance.

Mr. Sanders is also the author of Transatlantic: Dream to Destination, which was published in 2003. He is an Elder with Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City and is a long-time member of the New York Yacht Club. He and his wife, Carrie, live in Wilton, Connecticut with their two boys and baby girl.
