Brett Hayhurst is a Principal and leads Korn Ferry’s Executive Search practice for the consumer market in Canada. As well he oversees the consumer products sector for all Professional Search (mid market recruitment) in North America.

Mr. Hayhurst has more than ten years of experience recruiting on behalf of Fortune 500 companies at both the mid-market and senior level. After an early career in marketing with both Adidas Canada and Canadian Tire Corporation, he joined a leading executive search firm as a member of their research team. While in this position Mr. Hayhurst learned the value of true “research driven” recruiting and became well versed in the human capital requirements across several industry verticals. He held several roles in the firm, eventually rising to the position of Partner.

Mr. Hayhurst then spent the last six years leading teams in two different boutique search firms. He has focused on senior level assignments for clients in the consumer products, retail, and consumer services across multiple functions including IT, marketing, sales, human resources, and broader operations across the United States and Canada.

Mr. Hayhurst graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University and has a certificate in business fundamentals from the University of Toronto. He is the Past President of the Trinity College School Alumni Association and served as a member of the School’s Board of Governors.
