Brian Dresch is a Senior Client Partner with Korn Ferry's Executive Pay & Governance practice. Brian works with Boards of Directors and senior management on all aspects of executive independent director and management pay.

Brian assists clients with all aspects of executive compensation, including: design of compensation programs (base salary structures, short- and long-term incentives, executive benefits, and perquisites); development of compensation philosophies and alignment with business strategies; competitive measurement of compensation; regulatory issues; non-employee director compensation design; and analysis of company financial performance, especially performance measurement for incentive compensation purposes. Brian also has expertise in the area of mandatory equity deferrals, carried interest, co-investment and formulaic pay plans across the financial services industry.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 2015, Brian worked at BlackRock as the lead Compensation Consultant for the Investments business lines: including Alternatives (including Private Equity, Hedge Fund-of-Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure/Renewable Power, Private Equity Fund-of-Fund and Credit), Fundamental Equities, Fixed-Income, and Multi-Asset Strategies. In that role Brian analyzed and drove compensation strategies and practices relative to market position, internal equity, compliance and global and local compensation approaches.

Prior to BlackRock, Brian worked at McLagan focusing on asset management, alternatives & banking/capital markets for 10 years. While at McLagan, Brian led consulting assignments for clients in the areas of staffing, compensation benchmarking and incentive plan design while addressing strategy, stages of business development, ownership structure, increased regulatory guidelines and competitive market practices. He also managed a dedicated ‘club' survey for the leading alternative asset managers in the market, covering compensation benchmarking globally for their investment and non-investment professionals.

Brian received his Master's of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Connecticut and has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Fairfield University.
