Ms. Gerstner brings nearly twenty years of experience in leadership assessment and development to the Firm. In addition to leading a team of over fifteen professional consultants, she serves as a subject matter expert and key thought leader in the area of executive assessment for individual development and talent management. She has contributed to the design of the firm’s benchmark assessment models and also designed fully customized assessments for clients to drive culture change and alignment. She enjoys helping clients create talent management systems that are grounded in science and best practice while also practical, easy to implement, and aligned with business objectives.

Ms. Gerstner has extensive experience working with large global organizations, including three years managing the firm’s office in Geneva, Switzerland. In her work as an executive coach, she asks challenging questions while providing direct feedback in a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable experimenting with new and expanded skills. Ms. Gerstner has assessed and coached leaders across a variety of industries and levels, with specific expertise in the basic materials, financial services, and transportation sectors.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Gerstner served as a consultant for Applied Psychological Techniques and as an internal consultant for Xerox Corporation.

Ms. Gerstner has published articles on leadership in the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Leadership Quarterly and has presented on the topic at several professional conferences. She is a member of the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology.

She earned both her doctoral and master’s degrees in industrial/organizational psychology from Penn State University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and French from Louisiana State University.
