Eileen O’Donnell is a Senior Client Partner in the Global Healthcare Services Practice for Korn Ferry, based in the Firm’s New York office.

Ms. O’Donnell brings over 25 years of healthcare experience to Korn Ferry. Her search practice focuses in the recruitment of senior-level executives across the healthcare enterprise. Her clients include hospitals and health systems, academic medical centers and professional services firms.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Donnell served as a director in the health advisory practice at PwC. She worked with large healthcare systems and led transformational engagements for complex healthcare entities. She led strategy and M&A teams within the provider and payer space. She also served as a subject matter expert for the clinical operations team as she previously worked as a nurse in various settings, including oncology and pediatric neurosurgery.

Ms. O’Donnell previously served as vice president at Nexera Consulting, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association. She led the operations and technology division and worked on engagements that assisted healthcare entities with streamlining clinical care, technology infrastructure and improving operational effectiveness.

Earlier in her career, Ms. O’Donnell held various nursing and administrative positions within large academic medical centers, as well as mid-sized community hospitals. She has also organized and traveled internationally to bring healthcare to those in need, including providing direct patient care. She has worked internationally with health systems in Beirut, Cuba, Ireland, England, Botswana, Ecuador and El Salvador.

Her areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, productivity and strategic planning, operations transformation, care management, contract negotiations, process improvement, clinical support, provider and payer convergence, supply chain and GPO relationship management.

In 2014, Eileen was recognized by the Women’s Venture Fund as a leading woman in business and for her professional achievements and continuous support of women entrepreneurs.

Ms. O’Donnell earned a master of business administration from Cornell University, a master of arts from Columbia University, and a bachelor of science in nursing from Fairfield University.
