François Ducharme is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s Ottawa office.

Mr. Ducharme is a leadership and talent consultant with more than 25 years of experience in talent management. He brings an interesting mix of practical and academic experience.

Mr. Ducharme assists clients in improving their organizational performance through the implementation of innovative human resources practices. He coaches, assesses and develops CEOs, COOs, deputy ministers, and Presidents of a myriad of organizations, as well as their teams and boards of directors. 

Mr. Ducharme works with clients across a variety of industries such as technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, non-profit organizations, agencies, and Crown corporations of the federal and provincial departments.

Mr. Ducharme works with talent management systems, designing, and deploying organization-wide competency-based systems that integrate all HR practices: performance management, succession planning, development, selection, training, and more.

When working with assessments Mr. Ducharme uses various assessment tools such as interviews, psychometric tests, 360 assessments and Situational Judgement Tests. He facilitates impactful learning and development events for executives and leaders in order to develop strong leadership. 

Mr. Ducharme holds a doctorate of philosophy in industrial and organizational psychology and a master of psychology from University of Montreal. He also has a bachelor in psychology from McGill University.

Mr. Ducharme is a member of and licensed by the “Ordre des psychologues du Québec” (Quebec Order of Psychologists).
