Gareth Hallett is a Senior Principal Consultant for Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Johannesburg office.

Mr. Hallett facilitated various leadership programs with numerous clients to support leadership and competency development. He developed competency models for organizations with the purpose of releasing people’s potential.

Mr. Hallett has conducted assessments for selection and succession in various sectors. He has successfully delivered a number of job evaluation projects in various sectors across Africa. He has participated in design and implementation of an organizational re-design as well as leadership capability assessment initiative for a state owned enterprise.

For the last fourteen years, Mr. Hallett has worked across sub-Saharan Africa, where he has delivered a variety of successful business solutions predominantly in the realm of leadership and talent management to clients across sectors from retail, fast moving consumer goods, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, tele-communications, to non-governmental organizations. He currently leads a team of consultants, designing and delivering solutions for clients. Mr. Hallett is also responsible for thought leadership in the consumer market both within South Africa and across Africa.

Mr. Hallett’s areas of expertise include job evaluation and measurement, employee engagement and culture, leadership and talent, succession planning, coaching, facilitation, training, competency modeling, and talent strategy.

Mr. Hallett is a registered industrial/organizational psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. He completed his masters in industrial psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Mr. Hallett is fluent in English.
