Hagen Schweinitz is a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry International, where he leads the Firm’s CIO and IT Officers Centre of Expertise in Central Europe.

He specializes in appointing CIOs and senior information technology professionals across all industry sectors, and has worked with many leading global companies on high profile chief information officer and digital technology placements.

A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of non-executive board directors, predominantly in the technology sector or with a technology aspect. He is a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) in Brussels and has published several whitepapers on corporate governance and non-executive directors in fast-growing technology companies and on corporate governance in Iran. 

In cooperation with INSEAD, he has recently published a new study on the impact of disruptive technologies such as Blockchain on the work of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Hagen is a member of the Royal Society of Asian Affairs in London and a Life Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland.

He is an active member of the Oxford Business Alumni organization and currently serves as President of the regional OBA chapter. He also is a Mentor for Oxford Women’s Leadership Community's "Ascent" Programme.

He has been a speaker and panelist for organizations and conference audiences, discussing topics related to corporate governance and technology. 

He earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School / University of Oxford and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wales. He is a graduate of the Saïd Business School / University of Oxford High Performance Leadership programme (HPLP) and he has completed the International Directors Programme (IDP-C) at INSEAD, Fontainebleau. He speaks English, German and Farsi.
