Harriet Holbrook-Lui combines two decades of multinational business experience with her knowledge of leadership theory and practice to help clients develop talented and effective global leaders. She has designed and led leadership development, talent management, assessment and coaching programs that have delivered significant positive results. As a C-level coach, she also works one-on-one with leaders to achieve breakthrough changes in how they influence and lead. With an extensive career in corporate human resources, she has a particular interest in building high impact, business-focused HR teams.

Prior to joining the firm in 2006 via PDI Ninth House, a Korn Ferry company, Ms. Holbrook-Lui led HR teams on three continents and in four different industries, gaining first-hand experience with the joys and challenges of managing a global workforce. She was the chief HR officer for one of the largest travel and expense management firms, leading an HR team of over 200 people. Earlier, she served as vice president of HR for a world leader in hotels and hospitality and was on the management team for a global tech magazine publisher. Ms. Holbrook-Lui began her career in financial services, with eight years in a US bank, both in corporate and business unit roles.

Ms. Holbrook-Lui earned a master’s degree in education from Harvard University where she did research on organizational leadership. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University, with a finance concentration and did her undergraduate study at Colorado College. A native English speaker, Ms. Holbrook-Lui has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America.

She speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish.
