Hendrik Schmahl is a Senior Client Partner located in Korn Ferry’s Frankfurt office.

Mr. Schmahl is known for his broad expertise in Human Capital-, HR- and People consulting in the European and global markets.

He partnered with clients in HR-, People-, Talent and workforce-strategies, jointly developed the aspirations and value promises which led to specific client-centric transformation roadmaps and (re-) designed concepts and programs which he also accompanied during their change and implementation.

Mr. Schmahl helped clients in business transformation-/ restructuring and M&A initiatives, carve-outs and people transfers – incl. social partner and labor law topics.

Mr. Schmahl has up to 20 years experience in HR and Human Capital consulting along the portfolio of strategy (incl. feasibility studies and business cases) and road mapping, concept designs for Talent, Learning, Comp & Ben, Mobility, HR customer experience journeys, HR portfolio management, HR operating and service delivery model, HR Governance, concept deployment and continuous improvement towards the next levels of maturity.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Schmahl was Partner of an international management consulting company as part of the Human Capital leadership team, led the HR Strategy & Transformation roadmap offering and was responsible key accouter for several clients in different industries. He also had the role of being the EMEA school lead for young consultants in the human capital area and prior to more than a decade at Accenture.

Mr. Schmahl has studied Business Administration in Berlin (Dipl. Betriebskaufmann) with his major in logistic management and minor in marketing. He made multiple publications and point of views in the human capital area and is acting as speaker on client & company conferences often.
