John Dailey is a Managing Consultant in Korn Ferry Professional Search's North American Information Officers Practice. With over 15 years of executive search experience he is skilled in translating strategic and tactical business plans into the next generation leadership.

Mr. Dailey is experienced in forming enterprise recruiting programs which are efficient, effective, and provide results.

He has an unique ability to consult collaboratively with hiring managers to assess their needs and implement a comprehensive recruitment approach while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Recent projects include CIOs, CDOs, CISOs; Directors of Application Development; Directors of Infrastructure and Operations; Directors of BI and DW; Directors of Ecommerce And Security; Data Architects, DBAs, Big Data Experts; Application Developers, PMs and QA/Testing; System Admins, Network Engineers.

Preceding his current position, Mr. Dailey was a retained executive search consultant for a boutique search firm specializing in placements of Senior IT Executives in Manufacturing, Communications, Hospitality, Entertainment, Healthcare and Education.

For over a decade he was Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Professional Services with an Atlanta based IT consulting firm where he was responsible for management of talent acquisition, recruiting operations, business development, and project delivery.

The first part of Mr. Dailey's career was spent working directly for information technology departments in the financial and telecommunication sectors ATT, Verizon, Altell, Bank of America and Wells Fargo. During this time, he advanced from Programmer to Senior Director gaining extensive leadership experience in the areas of: Application Development, DevOps Infrastructure, Networking, Production Support, Database Administration, Quality Assurance, and Security. This hands-on, technical experience allows him to discern top talent in technology and provides him with a sound understanding of the demands/challenges of hiring managers in attracting technology talent.

Mr. Dailey holds a BBA Degree from the University of Georgia in Business Management. He has been a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, serving for five years on the TAG Human Resource Board.
