Karen Wong is Vice President, Business Operations based in Montreal, Quebec.

Karen is an integral member of a core business team providing operational and strategic support to the Global Operating Executive and Global Professional Search and Projects Management Team. Additional responsibilities include the development of business opportunities identified in collaboration with Professional Search leaders and delivery oversight of select professional search engagements.

Prior to this role, she has held several leadership roles within Korn Ferry’s North America Search and Solutions practices. She has worked alongside the Korn Ferry RPO and Professional Search President, to ensure that targeted profitability is achieved and resources are optimally utilized across the North America business. As an Area Leader in the Search practice, she expanded the client base in Canada with a focus on Eastern Canada. 

As a Vice President in Projects and RPO Delivery, Karen oversaw a portfolio of clients in North America across diverse industries, with responsibility for ensuring service delivery excellence and optimal client satisfaction. Prior roles also include being Co-Head of Korn Ferry Canada and Service Delivery Leader for Eastern Canada.

Before joining Korn Ferry in 2006, Karen spent over a decade working abroad in Hong Kong and New York City, initially as an Audit Manager with Price Waterhouse Hong Kong.

She then joined Michael Page Hong Kong, where she built and ran its largest division in financial services and helped them achieve recognition as the top recruitment consultancy in Asia within two years of its start-up. Karen subsequently transferred to their New York office and established a highly successful front office banking practice.

Karen holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She is trilingual in English, French and Cantonese.
