Manager, Search Assessment


Kari Poby, Psy.D., is a Manager of Search Assessment for Korn Ferry, based in the Firm’s Chicago office.

Ms Poby is responsible for administering and interpreting Korn Ferry’s proprietary Search Assessment tool, as well as developing job and culture profiles used to benchmark candidates.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she was a consulting psychologist for disability evaluations, and previously worked a psychologist in the California State Correctional system, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and assessment services.

She focuses on maximizing the use of assessment in all executive engagements firmwide and conducts executive feedback sessions.

She is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience leveraging assessment tools across a variety of areas and settings.

Her focus in clinical psychology has included a variety of psychological assessments, both intellectual and personality, to a range of clientele, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Ms. Poby earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the same institution, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
