Katerina Zacharia is an Associate Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the Firm’s Los Angeles office.

Ms. Zacharia brings 20 years’ experience working in talent strategy, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion. She works closely with senior teams and executive leaders to drive business strategy through creativity, innovation, purpose and agility. She has an expertise in facilitation, solutions architecture, culture transformation, and executive coaching. Katerina has worked extensively in the media and entertainment, technology, financial services, education and non-profit sectors.

Ms. Zacharia joins Korn Ferry from PromaxBDA, the global trade association for media and entertainment marketing, where she led industry relations, learning and diversity. During her tenure, she engineered an immersive, industry-wide learning and leadership development platform tailored to the strategic needs of creative, digital and marketing executives and professionals at global media companies. In her role, she worked in partnership with media executives to grow a high potential pipeline of diverse creative and marketing talent into and through the industry.

Prior to PromaxBDA, she worked as a learning and leadership consultant to international non-governmental organizations operating in the field of education and economic development in Latin America, South Africa, New Zealand, Ireland, the United States and Canada.

Ms. Zacharia is an experienced keynote speaker and conference presenter on topics ranging from creative leadership and communications to inclusive thinking and cultural agility. She earned a master’s in business administration from Tulane University, a master’s degree in social anthropology from York University in Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from Stony Brook University. At the University of Pennsylvania, she held the Spencer Fellowship for her doctoral studies in education, culture and society. She received her coaching qualification from the College of Executive Coaching.

She sits on the Board of Directors of The Freedom Writers Foundation and the LA Advisory Board of the Ghetto Film School.
