Managing Principal


Dr. Kathleen Hamblin-Trué is a Managing Principal in Leadership and Talent Consulting for Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Frankfurt office.

Dr. Hamblin-Trué  has a broad international background and focusses on succession management, talent strategy, leadership assessment and development, and diversity and inclusion. 

For the past 16 years, as a faculty member for other leadership development firms and in her own consulting practice, Dr. Hamblin-Trué designed and delivered highly customized programs for numerous profit and not-for-profit organizations in Europe, the Gulf Region, Africa, Asia, and North and South America, on topics including leadership, performance management, influencing, leading change, engagement, and diversity and inclusion. She has extensive experience with the hospitality, high tech, telecommunications, and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Hamblin-Trué has worked with all levels, including senior executives. She also served as an external Chief Learning Officer for a not-for-profit organization in Europe, South America and Africa, with a primary mandate of helping to guide the organization through a major organizational change and align strategy, culture and leadership.

Prior to becoming a corporate consultant, Dr. Hamblin-Trué worked as a clinical psychologist and also taught psychology and management studies at a number of universities. She was also a director for several neuropsychology research projects.

Dr. Hamblin-Trué is credited in the use of numerous psychometric instruments with a broad-range of business applications.

Dr. Hamblin-Trué earned a doctorate degree in clinical psychology as well as two masters degrees in psychology -- one with an emphasis in cross-cultural relationships, and the other with an emphasis in experimental psychology and research design.

Dr. Hamblin-Trué is a native English speaker who also speaks some French and German.
